Alphabet Soup, part 2: Who's Lita?
- Moycheh (mocheh?) (?)
- "Het ich velt ich"
- bal korcheynu
- sheker (related to "shikur, drunk," or spelled differently?)
- Kefirah lehumra crowd
- Machshovo (machshava ?)
- kesovim (ketovim?)
And, last but not least, in honor of our favorite "thermonuclear" telepath from the late lamented TV sci fi show "Babylon 5":
- lita
Periodic updates of this list may follow. You have been warned. :)

Let's see:
Moycheh (mocheh?) (?) Erase?
"Het ich velt ich" Beats me, but sounds painful
bal korcheynu : against our will
sheker (related to "shikur, drunk," or spelled differently?): lie
Kefirah lehumra crowd : Kefirah is heresy, humra is a stringency...serious heresy?
Machshovo (machshava ?): thought, philosophy (computers in israel)
kesovim (ketovim?): writings?
Lots of phlegm up there. Have you seen this?
Thanks for the info. But what happened to "lita?" Sigh. No one ever gave Lyta any credit. (Sorry, folks, just an inside joke between B5 fans.)
Lita: Lithuania?
Lithuania???
Thanks for the link, but the Brekher comedy audio file isn't so funny for someone whose hard-of-hearing kid couldn't make himself understood until he was roughly four.
sheker (lie)שקר is with a kuf, and shikor (drunk) שכור is with a kaf, so they're not related.
BZ, thanks for the spelling lesson. :)
